Danish brand Wheat was founded in 2002, when married couple Charlotte and Peter Galsgaard won the hearts of families with children through their beautiful designs. Their goal was to create a Danish brand offering children's fashion with a clear design identity and children at its centre. Charlotte and Peter wanted to create high-quality children's clothing using natural, durable materials made responsibly. Wheat is known for its strong Scandinavian design traditions, distinctive style and comfort, as well as a great fit that allows children to move freely when playing outdoors or testing their limits on the playground. They design beautiful clothing for boys and girls, from newborn size 50 up to size 152 and age 12. You will find a wide selection of outerwear, from snowsuits and thermal jackets to leggings and many other beautiful garments made from high-quality materials.

Organic and responsible designs

Wheat is dedicated to minimising the clothing industry's negative impact on our planet. This is why you will find their lovely cotton products made from organic materials that are soft to wear and better for the environment. This also means your child can enjoy the beautiful clothing for longer, and when they outgrow it, the colours and shape will still look great. You can therefore pass on the lovely bodysuits, leggings or other beautiful garments to younger siblings or someone else who could use a little extra for their wardrobe. In addition to using organic, hard-wearing cotton and recycled materials wherever possible in their products, the brand is also working towards creating a 100% CO2-neutral office. Solar panels can therefore be found on the roof of their office.
