Ceratosaurus animals & figures

Ceratosaurus was a carnivorous dinosaur that lived about 150 million years ago in the early Jurassic period. The two growths by its eyes and the large horn on its nose are part of the bones. It used them either to fight or to scare off its rivals. It also had numerous small spiked bones on its back. And the many growths, bumps and plates are the reason for its name: Ceratosaurus means horned lizard.
