Wool can absorb up to 35% of its own weight in water without feeling wet. Its natural fibres also make Mikk-line wool products water-repellent. In addition, wool is self-cleaning, and the lanolin naturally helps prevent odours and bacteria from developing.

Mikk-line wool hats are made from lovely, finest-quality merino wool. Merino wool takes its name from the Merino sheep that produce it, and what makes it so special is that it does not feel scratchy. Merino wool is therefore wonderfully soft and comfortable for your child to wear, while also helping to regulate their temperature – it is hard to ask for more.

All the wool used by Mikk-line is mulesing-free merino wool, meaning that the sheep it comes from are treated according to strict animal welfare standards.
