En Fant Sandals

En Fant sandals for children who play in both sun and water

En Fant sandals are a great choice for children who need more than a classic summer sandal. Here you will find sandals from En Fant that are especially well suited to active children aged around 2-10 years, where footwear needs to work on warm days, for water play, small puddles and everyday outings. It is exactly this combination of an open sandal and En Fant’s practical details that makes them an obvious choice for many parents.

When choosing a pair, it usually makes sense to consider:

  • your child’s age and activity level
  • whether the sandals will mostly be used in town, at the playground, on the beach or on wet surfaces
  • how much adjustability you need in the fit
  • whether you prefer a more open style or a sandal that gives the foot a little more protection

Many parents choose En Fant sandals because they want a style that also works on days when the weather changes along the way. That makes them a versatile choice for the summer wardrobe. If you want to explore more options, you can also see the full selection of children’s sandals.

What makes En Fant sandals with Dryfeet special

What especially sets En Fant sandals apart from many other children’s sandals is the Dryfeet membrane. It may sound a little unusual in a sandal, but in practice it makes very good sense. Your child gets a sandal that is waterproof and breathable at the same time. This means the foot is better protected from water on the outside, while heat and moisture can escape more easily.

For many families, this is a big advantage in everyday life, where sandals are rarely worn only on completely dry summer days. They also work well in wet grass, by the water’s edge or on the playground after a shower. En Fant also works with a PFC- and PFAS-free approach in the membrane, making them relevant if you want to choose thoughtfully without compromising on practicality.

That is why En Fant sandals are not only for high summer and dry weather, but a flexible solution for children who spend lots of time outdoors and rarely stick to completely dry surroundings.

En Fant sandals with natural rubber soles offer better grip on wet surfaces

The sole is also an important detail for many parents. En Fant is known for patterned natural rubber soles that provide good grip on wet surfaces. You notice it in everyday life when your child runs across tiles, wooden decking, by the shoreline or on slippery areas at the playground.

At the same time, it is good to have realistic expectations. En Fant sandals are not made for rough terrain like heavy hiking shoes, but they are very well suited to everyday outdoor play and summer days on the go. Your child gets a shoe that feels light and easy to move in, while still offering better footing when the ground becomes slippery or wet.

If your child also needs footwear for even wetter days, you can supplement with En Fant wellies or take a closer look at winter boots and other closed shoes for the colder months.

How to choose the right size and fit for growing feet

Fit matters a lot when choosing En Fant sandals. They should sit securely around the foot without pinching, and there should preferably be a little room to grow. A good rule of thumb is around 1 cm of extra growing room. This gives the toes space and makes the sandal usable for longer, without feeling too large from the beginning.

En Fant often makes styles with adjustable straps or lace closures, making it easier to adapt the sandal to your child’s foot. This is a clear advantage if your child is between two sizes, has narrow feet or needs extra room over the instep.

It can be a good idea to look for:

  • a heel that sits steadily without slipping up and down
  • toes that do not press against the front
  • straps that can be adjusted so the foot is held securely in place
  • a sandal that does not feel too narrow across the forefoot

If your child is still little and new to shoes, it may also help to look at other styles in the kids’ shoes category, so you can more easily compare fit and find what makes the most sense for everyday use.

Which style suits your child’s summer and everyday life?

Within En Fant sandals, the right choice often depends on how your child uses their shoes. More open styles with straps are great for warm days in town, on holiday or for play where feet can enjoy plenty of air. More closed or extra adjustable styles often provide more support and can be comfortable for children who are very active, play outside for long periods or move between dry and wet surfaces during the day.

For the youngest children, it is often an advantage to choose a style that is easy to put on and take off, while still keeping the foot securely in place. For older children, a more active sandal may be the right choice, especially if it will be used for everyday wear, outings and water play.

En Fant waterproof sandals are particularly good if you want to cover several needs with one shoe. It makes busy everyday life easier when you do not have to choose between one sandal for dry weather and another for wet play. For the beach, pool and very light trips into the water, you can also look at swim sandals if you want an even more open solution.

Easy care and a reliable everyday choice

Children’s shoes are used exactly as children’s shoes are meant to be used. They go to the playground, into the sandpit, through wet grass and come home with dust and soil on them. That is why En Fant sandals are also a practical choice for many families, as they are easy to keep looking nice in an active everyday routine. When shoes are made to be used and can easily be freshened up again, everyday life simply becomes a little easier.

It also gives peace of mind that En Fant combines functional details such as a Dryfeet membrane, natural rubber sole and adjustable fit with materials chosen with care. For you as a parent, that means less uncertainty and a better chance of finding a sandal that truly suits your child’s everyday life and how the sandals will be used.

Explore the selection of En Fant sandals and find the style that best matches your child’s age, activity level and the summer days when shoes need to do a little more than simply be an open sandal.
