Here you will find a wide selection of lovely jackets for both teenage boys and younger boys. Whether you are looking for a winter jacket, summer jacket, softshell jacket or vest for your boy, you will find it here. Your child needs a jacket all year round, and choosing the right one can quickly feel overwhelming, as there are so many options available. Which weather is each type of jacket suitable for, and what kind of outerwear is best for the different seasons? At House of Kids, you will find beautiful outerwear for your newborn baby boy as well as stylish, fashionable jackets for your teenager that he is sure to love. For your little boy, we can recommend brands such as Name It, Didriksons and Hummel. These brands are very popular with younger children, while brands such as Calvin Klein, Mads Nørgaard and Champion are especially popular with older boys.
Boys' jackets for every season
It is only natural to bring out the heavier outerwear when the temperature drops and frost begins to set in. Especially in the morning, when your boy is heading to school or nursery, warm outerwear can be a very good idea. It is worth considering how much your boy uses his jacket and what he uses it for. When it comes to winter jackets, you also cannot overlook terms such as water column rating and breathability, as these factors determine how much water is kept out and how much moisture can escape. We recommend a jacket with a water column rating above 5,000 mm and breathability of at least 2,000 g/m². This is a really good starting point for a younger boy, who will often use a lot of energy outdoors and therefore needs both waterproofing and breathability. If you have a very active boy who loves playing in snow, rain and slush, it is a good idea to choose outerwear with a high water column rating and equally high breathability. For your teenage boy, it is often less important to focus on water column rating and breathability, as he may be more interested in the design and may no longer spend as much time playing in the snow. When the weather starts to change again and warmer temperatures return, you will need a different type of jacket. There is also plenty to choose from, and each type has its own benefits. Softshell is water-repellent and windproof, making it a great choice for the changeable British weather. Teddy jackets are lovely to wear, incredibly soft and great for keeping warm. Quilted jackets also help retain warmth and are additionally lightly water-repellent and windproof. A rain jacket is the only type of outerwear that is completely waterproof and is therefore an essential part of your child's wardrobe. You will find our boys' rainwear here.
