The story behind Organic Zoo
The creation of British children's brand Organic Zoo is another heartwarming story. The founder and creative mind behind Organic Zoo is Paulina, who drew inspiration from her own childhood and the joy of living with less.
Paulina grew up in Poland as one of four siblings. Everyday life was difficult, and the future often seemed more bleak than bright. Her parents encouraged her to think creatively as a way to escape the sadness around her and dream of a colourful, creative world full of joy and adventure.
Paulina did not have much during her childhood, but she had nature, a focus on the good things in life and a vivid imagination. She lived a carefree life, while her mother taught her to be resourceful and appreciate what they had. Paulina was always dressed in second-hand, timeless clothing and ready to do what children do best: play.
A love of nature
A love of nature and simplicity became the foundation of Organic Zoo. The brand creates children's clothing in the same spirit of playful simplicity, celebrating nature and freedom.
Organic Zoo's first collection was launched from Paulina's home in Brighton, England. Ten years later, some of her very first designs are still bestsellers.
